Projectiondesign is very happy about their latest developments in the past few months. The company’s InfoComm appearance in Orlando on a 120sqm-sized booth not only shows that the booth size has become larger, but also stands for increased sales figures. This May, in fact, was the firm’s strongest month ever with regards to sales, since the company’s founding five years ago. The innovative Norwegian projector manufacturer introduced its latest 1-chip DLP model on InfoComm, the F2 SX+. The F2SX+ is a compact device for professional applications. It has SXGA+ resolution (1,400x1,050 pixels), 3,000 ANSI lumens, 2,500:1 contrast, lens shift, 24/7 running mode, 24-bit colour saturation, and a magnesium housing. It is suitable for portrait-format projections. It comes with 3 different colour wheel choices and various lenses, including a 1:1 wide angle lens. Featuring 24db, the projector is extremely silent. 3)      Casio: Super Slim XJ-S35 and XJ-S30 Projectors

CASIO has revolutionized the projector market by developing the new super slim XJ-S30 and XJ-S35 models (with USB ports). The data projectors are extremely small, ultra flexible and unbelievably chic. The projectors will be available as of the third quarter in 2006. By minimizing various components as the projector’s lens and the light source, the new super slim projectors impress with a considerably slimmer thickness of a mere 43 mm. The high-end XJ-S35 model has its own USB port. This means that users are always ready for action, because they don't need a computer to present PowerPoint presentations or other presentations. Moreover, the 2x motorized wide-angle zoom provides a unique degree of flexibility: A projection distance starting at 1.7 m (max. 3.40 m) is adequate to project data clearly and legibly with an image diagonal of 1.52 m. An amazing light intensity of 2,000 ANSI lumens means that it offers an extraordinary degree of brilliance and sharpness, even in daylight conditions.

4)      NEC: LT35 projector triumphs in the 'Ease of Use' category

A triumph for NEC's LT35 projector at the Plus X Awards ceremony in Düsseldorf. Despite the tough competition, the projector came out top in the 'Ease of Use' award category. The Plus X Awards were presented for the third time this year in recognition of outstanding technological products to companies in the sectors of entertainment electronics, telecommunications, IT and household appliances. This is the second time that an NEC projector has received an award. This year, it went to NEC's LT35 in the awards category of 'Ease of Use' for the projector's fast auto focus function. Thanks to auto focus, the LT35 projector is operational in a matter of seconds because there is no need to manually adjust the focus. Another of this projector's outstanding features is automatic keystone correction to prevent trapezoidal distortion so that square images are projected. The fan only runs for 15 seconds after the LT35 is switched off, rounding off the range of convenient automatic functions incorporated in this projector.

12)  G+B pronova: World’s Largest Holographic Projection Screen

The Caixia Galicia Foundation exhibits its works of art in a very special building. The building, designed by the London architect Nicolas Grimshaw and situated in the heart of La Coruña (Spain), has a special, unconventional shape that really stands out. White marble laminated in glass creates the appearance of a wave that is about to break. The building is light, very transparent and positively invites you to come in. A real specialty of the construction is a second level, hanging vertically at the front of the building, that consists of 100 glass panes. 25 of these panes have been covered with HoloPro™ films that have been laminated into special hardened glass. These are projected onto from the rear and produce a 7.50m x 10m holographic projection area, the biggest one in the world. It is used to display information about the art collection and special events. The HoloPro™ screens form a media façade that fits in perfectly with the architecture. This project was planed and installed in cooperation with the Spanish dealer RPG Producciones in Madrid.
