8)      Da-Lite Introduces New 16:10 Wide Format Screens

Da-Lite Screen Company, Inc. has announced the introduction of a brand new projection screen format, 16:10 Wide Format. In response to the introduction of Wide Format PC’s and laptops that are now on the market, this new 16:10 format is rapidly becoming the standard for the computer industry. 9)      dnp: Supernova Infinity at InfoComm

Supernova Infinity is a modular screen system designed to create “Videowall” style front-projection screens of almost any size and aspect ratio, ideal for commercial projection applications. Supernova Screens are based on a revolutionary high-contrast filter that allows the projected image to be reflected from the screen, while effectively absorbing incident light from other angles. As a result, the screen is virtually unaffected by ambient light. Among the finest screens in the market, the dnp Supernova Infinity Screen material has recently been certified by the Imaging Science Foundation™ (ISF) for its outstanding image quality. This means the product exceeds the high-standard benchmarks that define the best video performance available. With a half-gain of over 80 degrees, Supernova Infinity provides full 180 degrees of horizontal viewing. Supernova Infinity combines neutral color reproduction and uniform image quality with extremely high contrast ratios and superior black levels. During InfoComm 2007, Supernova Infinity will be demonstrated at dnp booth # 4836.

10)  Projecta: Easy Install ceiling mounting kit

The Easy Install ceiling mounting kit for false ceilings contributes to an ideal set-up for every presentation room. Thanks to this kit, a high-quality projection screen is always at the ready, yet may also be quickly and invisibly stowed away when it is no longer needed. These are the qualities that make the Easy Install ceiling mounting kit the ideal solution for every room in which the presence of technical facilities can quickly tend to be a distracting element. Meeting and presentation rooms, but for example classrooms as well will all benefit from a high-quality projection screen that may also be quickly removed from sight if so desired. The Easy Install ceiling mounting kit provides this option and also creates particularly stylish mounting results. A narrow channel used for conveying the screen is the only visible feature of this system. The mounting panel creates a single sleek totality with the false ceiling. The mounting brackets may be placed with a surprising 50 centimeters horizontal clearance from the sides of the screen. Fixed drilling measurements are now a thing of the past. Extendible ceiling mounting brackets are available as an option which allows trouble-free bridging of any large distance between the ceiling and false ceiling. The Easy Install ceiling frames are available for Cinelpro Electrol projection screens with widths from 180 to 300 cm.

14)  HANTAREX: New range of professional FID and PID monitors

Hantarex has developed three families of products that completely support all the common requests of the public video-information field. The first of these products is: SQ AIR 32”, 40” and 46”, a range of LCD TFT monitors with the FIDs/PIDs assisted by an integrated PC board with Java Virtual Machine technology. The SQ AIR line has been designed to satisfy all the needs for video-information systems spread over a large area that requires extreme engineered, integrated systems. The monitors integrate a PC board equipped with SUN – Java Virtual Machine software that makes them real system peripherals where it is easy to launch any Java Xml remotely. SQ AIR monitors have an excellent visual angle both vertically and horizontally of 180°, a contrast of 1,200:1, brightness of 500 cd/qm and resolution of 1366 x 768. Another range of products specifically designed for particular video-information systems, also dedicated to professional applications, are: LCD TFT Rack Embedded PC FIDsPIDs 32”, 40”, 46” and oversized 57” and 82”. The Rack Embedded PC range has a special integration of a Custom PC board that, differently from the previous range, is configured to be extractable that allows “local” management of the content, remote automation of viewing data displayed in the environment and easy maintenance of the local unit itself. Last but not least of the ranges, Hantarex includes also this collection: LCD TFT 40” and 46” Narrow Bezel Sun Readable, dedicated to public video-information applications in VideoWalls for particularly bright environments. With a brightness of 700 cd/qm, a contrast of 1,200:1 and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, the Narrow Bezel – Sun Readable range is the largest Liquid Cristal display range with an ultra thin frame and antireflection. The LCD 40” and 46” models are industrial models that have an extremely narrow frame, less than 15 mm, suggested for videowall applications that seem to be a single unit because the unattractive grid created by the frames in normal LCD monitors has been eliminated.

The new version 2.0 of ReadiManager SE200 now has an integrated application for device administration, planning, conference management and gatekeeping. It makes the management of conference networks considerably easier. The conference and network resources are centrally administered along with participants and communication devices. The ReadiManager SE200 version 2.0 completes Polycom’s end-to-end high definition video conference portfolio. This also includes the Real-time Media Conferencing platform RMX 2000 for administrating multi-point conferences (over several locations). Vaddio is pleased to announce the newest member of their line of PTZ cameras, WallVIEW HD1. WallVIEW HD1 will be launched at InfoComm 2007 in Anaheim, California.
