V7
Videoseven: entering the world of HDTV
V7 Videoseven has discovered the digital future: The
new V7 PD760X DLP projector enables HDTV projections in excellent picture
quality. Thanks to HDTV technology up to 2,000,000 pixels (1,920 x 1,080 pixels)
can be represented. The V7 PD760X is ready for the digital future offering
numerous features. The projector’s chief attraction is an integrated speaker
on the housing’s top side. Thanks to 16:9 support movies can be seen in
cinema format. DLP technology allows for high-contrast XGA representation
featuring 1,024 x 768 pixels at a brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumens. Compact,
silent and powerful: At 35dBA, the V7 PD760X is running very silent. The
contrast ratio of 2000:1 allows for excellent picture quality even under
unfavourable light conditions. Another special feature is the DVI input. It
guarantees for loss-free picture or audio signal transmission from various
data sources like DVD players, TVs, notebooks or PCs. More: http://www.videoseven.com 4)
Lariviere
GmbH: Acu Screen Pro
Using Direct Digital Projector Calibration,
the AcuScreen Pro calibration solution allows direct calibration of the
programmable LUTs that are contained within the digital projector itself, so
allowing calibration independent of the computers graphics card and any
attached display monitor. The first projector which was introduced with this
new technology is the JVC SX21 X-RAY.
With this new approach for projector calibration Lariviere can offer an
optimized product for the medical community presentation needs. Not only is
Lariviere GmbH having a brand new, low-cost and easy-to-use technology for
calibrating projectors (using the technical specifications of the projector,
quality of the screen and ambient light data), but also a very inexpensive
medical projection system for easy implementation into existing solutions. More: http://www.lariviere.de |

HP:
new HP MP3135 digital projector
Today, projectors need to be applicable
flexibly. At 1.7 kg and 7.4 x 22.9 x 19.8 cm (wxdxh), the HP MP3135 digital
projector is especially suitable for professionals and companies that require
flexible presentation solutions. Thanks to vertical design the projector is
very space saving and can be put up in small rooms. Thanks to Smart
Attachment Module (SAM) enhancement the projector can be integrated into a
network easily. Presentations can thus be transmitted wireless or played back
directly from a USB stick or memory card. Apart from serial connections such
as S-video, M1-DA, composite, component and audio the SAM offers wireless LAN
and LAN connections as well as two USB interfaces. Thanks to 1800 ANSI
lumens, native XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) and a contrast ratio of
2000:1 excellent picture quality is achieved. An innovative 5 segment colour
wheel produces clear and full colours. More: http://www.hp.com 9)

consistently excellent picture quality. The PE7700
uses progressive scan to detect motion and static signals and process static
and motion imaging with Senseye technology, a technology that has been
developed by BenQ. Senseye also delivers smooth
motion without jagged vertical edges and a clear static image without screen
door effect. More: http://www.benq-eu.com 12)
Panasonic:
XGA LCD projector with integrated WLAN
The new Panasonic micro portable XGA
PT-LB20NTE LCD projector is characterized by 2000 ANSI lumens brightness and
a 400:1 contrast ratio. It is equipped with "daylight-view"
technology recently developed by Panasonic. This technology allows for presentations
in daylight environments. Even pastel are represented true to original. An
ambient light sensor (ALS) which is integrated in the control panel
recognizes light variations and in four steps immediately optimizes colour
compensation. In addition, the "daylight-view" mode can recognize
artificial light sources with various colour temperatures and then
automatically carries out the white balance. Thanks to the
"daylight-view" function the 2000 ANSI lumens PT-LB20NTE projector
achieves a picture quality that is typically found in 3000 ANSI lumens
projectors. Furthermore, it is now possible to easily connect up to 16 PCs
with a single projector. To realize this, Panasonic presents a warless
networking solution: The PT-LB20NTE consists of an integrated IEEE 802 b/g
compatible WLAN allowing for wireless video and sound transmission. Hence, a
single projector can receive data originating from several PCs. Received
pictures can then be projected simultaneously in a multiple window. Users can
choose between 4-window mode, 4-window index and 16-window index. Wireless
projector control is possible as well as transmitting pictures from a PC to
up to eight PT-LB20NTE projectors. Detailed information is available on the
Panasonic websites. More: http://www.panasonic-europe.com 13)
