2) ISCO: Innovation Award from WRG
With two proposals ISCO participated in the 2004 innovation award of
the Association for Business Development of the county administration of
Göttingen/Germany: The cinema projection lens series with outstanding imaging
performance is protected through a worldwide patent and has already been
awarded in Hollywood. The new lens design guarantees an essentially improved
brightness distribution and results in a brilliant and even projection with
up to 60% more light on the entire screen. The Anamorphic attachments enable
an optical image conversion for Digital Cinema from Widescreen to Cinemascope-Format
and for E- and Home Cinema Applications from 4:3 to 16:9 or from 16:9 to
Cinemascope (2.35.:1) without light loss and loss in resolution. With the
advanced technology of the anamorphic lenses, you have no more black bars
across the top and bottom of the picture area, reducing the resolution,
brightness and contrast of the image on the screen. For both proposals ISCO
was awarded and received prize. More:

Hitachi:
CP-SX1350 LCD projector
Hitachi
Digital Media Group showcased the new CP-SX1350 projector on CeBIT, an S-XGA
LCD projector with 3,500 ANSI lumens. This projector is a further development
based on the CP-X1200 and the CP-X1250. Like its two predecessors, the
CP-SX1350 is equipped with four changeable lenses, vertical lens shift,
multiple connections and a network interface. The CP-SX1350 offers various
application possibilities that are especially handy in business applications,
CAD/CAM visualizations, and control rooms as well as in the education sector.
Combined with vertical lens shift function, the featured four changeable
lenses (fixed lens, short, midrange and long focal length) guarantee almost
unlimited flexibility in any installation. Hence, the CP-SX1350 is a device
that is especially interesting for the rental staging market. An image
diagonal ranging from 40“ to 500“ the CP-SX1350 projects both pin sharp still
and video images. In order to achieve excellent image quality, Hitachi
projectors use Motion Adaptive Progressive Scan technology. More:

Epson:
The new EMP-732
Seven
seconds is the time that the new Epson 3LCD feather weight - the Epson
EMP-732 – needs to warm up. This new 1.7 kg business projector with Epson
3LCD-Advanced-Imaging-projection technology represents an extremely handy
3LCD special device. It is the ideal partner for business people who are in
the field frequently and need to present while on the road. The EMP 732
measures just 19 x 27 x 7 cm, hence, a truly compact device. Thanks to its
2000 ANSI lumens, this projector is especially bright even at daylight.
Thanks to E-TORL technology (Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp) viewers can see
a pin sharp projection in a compact environment. This technology bundles
light avoiding scattered light with minimal diffraction and thus allows for
an extremely compact optical system. Thanks to automatic keystone correction,
presentations are projected without any distortion, no matter the room
position. Even from a two meter distance a 60” image can be projected
perfectly thanks to the short lens. LCD projectors realize outstanding, vivid
and natural colours that do not fray. This projection technology does not
affect the human eye by representing colours and shades through fast
flickering. The eye can see the entire image which is stabile and gentle to
the eye. More:

5) Toshiba: T98 – bright and light
More: http://www.toshiba.de/projectors 6) EIKI: The portable LC-XB30
The new
portable LC-XB30 projector from the EIKI Office Line is suitable for POS and
mobile presentations as well as for applications in the education sector.
Moreover, the projector is perfectly applicable for fixed installations in
small and medium sized conference rooms. This 2.8 kg feather weight is
characterized by the following outstanding basic data: XGA resolution, a
brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 450:1. An automatic
setup function allows for vertical adjustment of keystone-correction and PC.
A control monitor can be connected to an additional monitor output allowing
for presentations that are faced backward towards the projection screen. The
LC-XB30 consists of four different image adjustment modes – dynamic,
standard, real/cinema and blackboard (dark green). The blackboard mode has
been especially developed for applications in the education sector. Apart
from the usual lamp mode of 3000 ANSI lumens, the projector can also run
either in eco mode using approx. 73% of brightness or in auto mode which
regulates the brightness in accordance with the incoming video signal’s luminance.
The EIKI MCD-100 also enables transmission of image information via LAN
connection, radio-LAN connection or via memory card. Thanks to the EIKI NPC-1
network interface the projector’s operation, control and remote control are
easily possible via TCP/IP-network. More:

The projector integrates a powerful display server and users can easily connect it to their network infrastructure, enabling real time interaction, file sharing, and remote control and diagnostics. The iCon H600 Barco has specifically designed for displaying HDTV video in native resolution. The 6000 ANSI-lumen LDC-projector generates a bright, true color, high-resolution video image on a 16:9 canvas, with a contrast ratio of 800:1, resulting in the projection of high quality video images. Advanced picture-in-picture functionality for displaying multiple sources, both video and data, on an eye-friendly 16:9 canvas, is a unique feature offered on this device. It gives the presenter more flexibility to show multiple windows next to one another to meet specific presentation needs. He is able to retrieve any remote user’s desktop or file via the projector and over the network, creating higher flexibility and efficiency in information access. The iCon H600 can also stream video material over the network. Support and maintenance of a fleet of projectors, operators can fully control over the network from the central IT Helpdesk. Barco offers dedicated software called “Remote Control & Diagnostics”. The projector is available now.
