Sharp: LCD Projector XG-C335X - flexible and powerful
The new
LCD data and video projector XG-C335X provides reliable support for
presentations whether in mobile use or permanently installed. It is at home
in conference rooms and what is particularly impressive is its high 3,500
ANSI lumens light intensity coupled with lots of interfaces. Professional
presentations are always a new challenge. There is one thing you can rely on
in any situation: the XG-C335X. The high picture quality, which is achieved
with an almost imperceptible operating noise of 31dBA in low power mode, is
another of the projector’s impressive features. Thanks to the 3LCD technology
and the projector’s 3,500 ANSI lumens, the XG-C335X makes the presentation
clearly visible even in the brightest of conference rooms and puts the
lecturer’s arguments in the best light. The XGA standard projector has 1,024
x 768 pixels and with a 600:1 contrast ratio meets the high picture quality
demands. More: http://www.sharp.de 4)
NEC: DLP shines on with two lamps
The new
NP4000 from NEC really shines on. For use in permanent applications, the DLP
projector has two lamps and can be used flexibly in one-lamp or two-lamp
mode. With its two 260 Watt lamps together it delivers 5,000 ANSI lumens
brightness. For special applications in large bright rooms the NP4000 can be
stacked and in this double-pack can manage a light intensity of up to 10,000
ANSI lumens. With its flexible two-lamp mode the NP4000 is ideally suited for
permanent applications, such as in underground stations, exhibitions or at
point-of-sale, because the lamp lifetime, depending on the mode, can reach
5,000 hours. For the stackable high-performance projector, NEC offers five
interchangeable lenses with bayonet connections for various projection
distances. They can be changed quickly and easily and allow an image
projection ratio of 0.8 – 8.3:1. The picture can be adjusted horizontally by
10% and vertically up to 50% on the screen with a motorised lens shift. The
focussing and zoom are also motorised. A particular highlight included in
delivery is the additional 6-segment colour wheel (2xRGB) for applications
where colour is critical; it guarantees brilliant and natural colour
reproduction. More: http://www.de.nec.de/home.php/lang/ENG |

Toshibas LCD projector sx3500 with 4 optional lenses
More: http://www.toshiba.de/projectors 6)
ViewSonic: DLP projector PJ258D with
integrated iPod dock
After
already causing a storm with its innovative ViewDock
technology in two LCD displays, the company is now presenting the PJ258D, a
multifunctional, fully equipped DLP projector with an iPod
docking station. The model offers iPod fans
completely new entertainment options for the digital lifestyle, for now, with
the PJ258D, it is possible to watch your favourite films both in iPod display size and also in life size – and all that
without PC support. Just like the iPod, the PJ258D
is easy to operate and can be used in many situations. The easy-to-get-at iPod dock interface is integrated on the top of the
projector so that an iPod video device can be
conveniently connected to the PJ258D. The automatic input signal search
recognises the iPod as the signal source and
projects the selected video data. The iPod is
supplied with power over the interface and so even longer performances
present no problems. Multiple connection options, like for example an S-video
input and a PC-VGA input allow it to be connected to the computer, DVD
player, digital camera or game console. The black gloss design conceals some
innovative technology: the 0.55” DMD DLP chip from Texas Instruments with a
native resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels gives you a contrast ratio of 2,000:1
and a 2,000 ANSI lumen brightness. More: http://www.viewsonic-europe.com 7)

Anchor. More: http://www.chiefmfg.com 10) Unicol: AZENITH – Plasma stand
UNICOL’s
plasma stands and trolleys have been developed for professional use. One of
the highlights in the programme is the AZENITH model. The height of the stand
can be adjusted and it supports flatscreens up to
50” offering a large selection of extra components like for example various
platforms. The AZENITH can be delivered as a stand and trolley (mobile
version with wheels). A special feature is that the tubes are in sections –
this allows the stand to be taken apart quickly and easily and it is then
easy to transport, e.g. in one of the flight cases UNICOL offers. Along with
the stand, these flight cases can safely store flatscreens
of any make from 42 to 50 inch. More: http://www.unicol.de 11) MediaScreen restrains the giants – ScreenLifter 103
A few weeks ago, as the world’s
largest plasma screen (103”) was presented, the applause from the specialists
was plain to hear. But then when the
enormous weight of the display became known, the enthusiasm amongst some of
the technicians at the presentation was curbed somewhat. But, thanks to the
fully automatic MediaScreen Lifter 103, dealing
with the up to 250 kg 103” large displays becomes child’s play. Just press a
button and the screen is unloaded fully
automatically all by itself from the vibration damped flight case. Its
powerful and precise electro-mechanical driving unit allows the large display
to be raised smoothly up and for vertical presentation applications it can
even be turned 90 degrees to an upright position and then fixed. The ScreenLifter 103 is a safe transportation system and
elegant display stand in one. Where normally four strong men would be
necessary, the push of a button is all that is required for the amazing
transformation of a flight case into a presentation system ready for
immediate use to begin. The display remains firmly anchored at all times. More: http://www.mediascreen.de 12) NEC Display Solutions: Public
displays for professional use
With the
new NEC MultiSync® LCD 20 series, NEC Display
Solutions has brought two models onto the market which are specially designed
for the requirements of professional applications such as in digital signage
systems. A particularly small frame width provides an excellent view in
multi-monitor solutions and gives these large format LCDs
an elegant, light design. The improved PVA panel in the NEC MultiSync® 20 series has been specially developed for
long operation times and is ideal for demanding applications such as airports
or railway stations, in hotel lobbies or shopping malls. High fidelity
images, even in strong sunlight, are guaranteed by a light intensity of up to 700 cd/sqm and a
contrast ratio of 1200:1. Digital interfaces such as HDMI and DVI-D with HDCP
support allow video and HDTV material to be projected. The LCD displays can
also process SCART signals which is an additional
factor towards cost reduction as existing connections can still be used. More: http://www.nec-display-solutions.com 13) ILS: ILS 20S Digilectern
– high-end lectern and presentation system
For a
perfect presentation it is no longer possible to do without technical
support. In the series of intelligent lecterns, ILS presents its flagship the
20S digilectern. Presentations are controlled via
special software and the integrated computer. Along with all the functions
which go to making a presentation perfect, it can also function as an
information terminal. With the built-in PC and touchscreen
display which can be raised up electrically and then folded out if necessary,
an elegant and fully-fledged information terminal can be created which can be
used for advertising, information or presentations in the breaks between
speeches. More: http://www.intelligentlecterns.com 14) Kindermann MultiMedia
trolley: Versatile extension
Kindermann sets the standard with a new idea for intelligent MultiMedia
applications in the conference room. The solution is a completely equipped MultiMedia trolley which contains all the presentation
technology in one piece of furniture and is ready for use in a few easy
steps. The Kindermann MultiMedia
trolley contains all the components you need; from PC to projector, from a
powerful sound system to connector panels with power and signal interfaces
for external connections such as networks and Internet. Not only that, there
is also space for a video recorder or DVD player. The new KINDERMANN KX 2900
comes into active service as the projector. It allows direct interaction with
the projection. This is made possible by technology which combines an
integrated VGA camera in the projector with the telescopic pointer which is
fitted with an infra-red transmitter. The Kindermann
MultiMedia trolley is a high-quality piece of
furniture with a universal projector mount, double-sided folding projection
mirror, lockable bottom cupboard for media devices and double castors with
locks. A PC is not included in the package. More: http://www.kindermann.com 15) Kramer: VP-23RC Presentation
Switcher
Kramer
Electronics is pleased to announce the introduction of the VP-23RC
Presentation Switcher with Media/Room Control. The unit is the first Kramer
model to combine the convenience and technology of switching multiple audio
and video sources with control of media room features such as window blinds,
room lights and projector lifts. The VP-23RC offers a single-box solution
that incorporates a Presentation Switcher section and Media/Room Controller
section, with the option of integrated or independent operation of each
section. This combination unit further expands the Kramer Electronics RC
series of media/room controllers introduced earlier this year for training
rooms, classrooms, boardrooms and presentation environments. More: http://www.kramerelectronics.com 16) Analog Way: New products at NSCA
Analog
Way announced the availability of Sync Processor (model SPI400), an interface
which adapts the Computer signals to monitors, screens, projectors and other
Video display devices requirements. It can handle most input formats and
synchronizations (RGsB, RGB/S, RGB
HV). Sync Processor features automatic detection of the input synchronisation
signal, and converts it to SOG, HV Composite or separate H and V. The
synchronisation type of signal can be independently set on each of the two
outputs. Sync Processor Interface is also a Booster / Equalizer, a High

HD) can be driven on up to 300m/1000ft. A High grade compensation cable
function, offers a continuous tuning to precisely fit the cable length and
quality. It enables to obtain the best quality picture possible (sharpness
and echo free) to application, providing a clearer, brighter and more
contrasted image. The Equalizer also features an RGB HV input on BNC or HD15F
with loop monitoring. The equalized output is available on either BNC or
HD15. More: http://www.analogway.com 17) CABLETIME: Power of MediaStar at Prolight + Sound
The
latest enhancements to Cabletime’s MediaStar Evolution Digital Multiformat
IPTV Decoder and Multimedia Player, which include its ability to deliver High
Definition content, was shown at Prolight + Sound
Media Systems 07, in Frankfurt. As well as Evolution, Cabletime,
along with its German distribution partner, Videlco,
has focussed on MediaStar Pro and MediaStar Compact, acknowledged as the video distribution
solutions of choice amongst many European corporate organisations. The new HD
functionality provides the latest improvement for the popular IPTV and
Digital Signage solution, which answers user demands for ever improving
quality of images. The 760/2M, EvoNet unit,
provides a powerful and ultra reliable, solid state “out of the box” solution
for the entire network TV, multimedia and digital signage delivery
requirements. With the software enhancements the EvoNet
unit is now able to receive SD and HD MPEG 2 and 4 files, either using a USB
key or through an IP network download. In addition the EvoNet
unit can retrieve HTML pages stored on a network server and store the content
until it is ready to play out or display live web content by picking it up
from a web server, rendering it, and with only a few seconds delay for
refresh, deliver it to the screen. A further enhancement to the EvoNet unit will allow users to overlay HTML content,
such as marketing messages or webpages over
existing content on the display, so that ads or promotional messages can run concurrently
with web pages and MPEG 2/4 files. Additionally content can be synchronised
across screens so that a co-ordinated single marketing message is provided
across a groups of screens. More: http://www.cabletime.com 18) G+B pronova
success with HoloPresenter at the EuroCIS
Along
with their Swiss partner, visualFOOD GmbH, G+B pronova presented the HoloPresenterplus
– the complete solution for the retail trade. With its unusual design and
brilliant daylight projection the HoloPresenterplus
really draws attention to the products presented on the glass display
shelves. The design of the shelves and the design of the display can be
adjusted to suit the manufacturer’s CI templates or the retail chain. As well
as that G+B pronova also presented Living.Kiosk: virtual customer advisors give information
and advice on the HoloPro. The name stands for an
interactive kiosk solution which is personalised with an avatar and can give
customers sales-oriented advice and information. With this innovative
multimedia offer communication can be fully automated 24 hours a day. The
special features of the HoloPro projection screen
make the avatars of the Living.Kiosk application
appear especially “real”. A competent virtual customer advisor explains
complex, product-specific connections. In this targeted consulting, the
customer interacts with the character and can steer the presentation in the
direction his interests lie. More: http://www.holopro.com 19) CL: New workhorse from Barco in the programme
CL video
rental GmbH & Co. KG is again investing in high-performance projectors.
This time the company is extending its programme with the Barco
CLM R10+. In a first step CL is buying
eight projectors; it is planned to purchase further devices. The new CLM R10+
is set to become the rental company’s workhorse from now on. 10,000 ANSI
lumens, a contrast ratio of 1200:1, a 1400 x 1050 pixel resolution, Scernegix edge blending, picture-in-picture functions;
the CLM R10+ has all of Barco’s well-known features
and functions. The compact and simple
construction of the projector is also impressive. The robust casing,
professional connector panel and enclosed engine also allow it to be used in
difficult environments. Thanks to DLP technology, the brightness of the lamps
remains constant over the whole 750 operating hour lifetime. “We have decided
to stock the CLM R10+ in our rental park because, with its well-known Barco quality, it is excellent value for money”, explains
Jörg Heinze, director of
CL video rental. The company passes on this advantage to its customers in the
form of good value rental and purchasing rates and conditions. More: http://www.cl-group.de 20) Integrated Systems Events & MidExpo launch ISRussia
