3) Christie: Powerful Selection of
Next Generation Projectors at ISE
At this year’s ISE, Christie will be displaying a
powerful selection of next generation projectors with a special focus on
fixed installation, rental staging and control room display systems. Christie
will be offering live demonstrations of DLP and LCD projectors using HD and
video content. Christie's Roadsters Series projectors will be in live operation,
projecting above their partner’s booth Stewart Filmscreen
using their in-built edge-blending capability. Visitors can experience the
Roadie 25k projector’s stunning image quality and brightness. This product is
based on 3-Chip DLP™ technology and has a 2K resolution as well as a contrast
ratio of 1600:1. The Xenon based projection system offers unmatched
brightness of 25,000 ANSI lumens. Christie’s DS+8K will also be on display on
the booth. The DS+ series’ brightness levels have been enhanced just
recently. Hence, the DS+8k now has over 8,500 ANSI
lumens. The projector delivers crystal clear and spectacular images.
Moreover, the SXGA+ projector features 10-bit images processing and variable
contrast ratios from 1600 to 2000:1. High bandwidth signal processing
supports functions such as picture-in-picture and seamless switching of
sources. ISE:

Optoma: The new Projector EP747
Optoma introduces the EP747, a bright 3000 ANSI Lumen XGA digital projector
for a wide range of applications – from the office and classrooms to
corporate surroundings. Attractively styled, the EP747 is easily portable and
really comes into its own in installation applications with excellent video/audio
capability, short throw add-on lens, and 3000-hour lamp life. The
comprehensive array of inputs include DVI; two VGA, S-video and Composite;
and for each video input there is an audio input allowing easy switching of
sources. Primarily a business projector, the video quality is nonetheless
certainly up to the standard of many home Theatre Projectors with 2000: 1
contrast and pre-sets optimized for PC, Photo, sRGB,
Video and Cinema applications. The EP747 boasts a new sleek compact design
including a patented wind-tunnel cooling system, which is designed for
near-silent operation at 30 dB. With the new express on and off feature, the presentation
is ready to shine brightly in just a few seconds. For the presenter on the
go, the rapid power-off feature allows to move to the next important
presentation in seconds. The EP 747’s first European outing will be at ISE. ISE: Stand L 45 More: http://www.optomaeurope.com |

5) Toshiba: Introducing the FF1 LED
Beamer - an All-In-One Device
More: http://www.toshiba.de/projectors 6) Liesegang: The new dv•480 LCD projector
The dv•480 LCD projector is the latest in
school and office projectors from Liesegang. With
its integrated ambient light sensor and automatic image adjustment function,
it is exceptionally easy to operate. Operated in darker rooms, the ambient
light sensor fitted on top of the projector automatically enables the Liesegang dv•480 to switch from normal to whisper mode.
The resulting optimal use of the lamp guarantees a longer lamp life. Simple
operation: The key image parameters are automatically set with a simple push
of a button (“one-button function“). Consequently, keystone correction,
horizontal and vertical picture position, frequency, and phasing are
perfectly adjusted to suit any projection situation. The picture settings can
also be specified individually via the menu. The XGA projector with 2,300
bright ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 600:1 and a range of connection
options is ideal for use in schools and smaller to medium-sized conference
rooms. Its electronic image reversal function ensures easy ceiling
installation. With a weight of a mere 2.7 kg, the Liesegang
dv•480 is also perfect for portable use. The multifunctional profile of the
dv•480 is rounded off by a stereo sound system with 2x1watt loudspeakers, an
individually adjustable colour management facility, and a 6x digital zoom.
The dv•480 projector comes with a free 36 month warranty and an exceptionally
user-friendly lamp guarantee of 6 months for up to 1,000 hours. The Liesegang dv•480 is supplied complete with connection
cables, remote control, and softcase. A remote
control with integrated laser pointer and mouse function can be ordered
separately. More: http://www.liesegang.de 7)
