The Sony VPL-CX-70 offers a contrast ratio of 350:1 at a high resolution of 1024 x 768 dpi. The VPL-CX70 incorporates Advanced Intelligent Auto-Set-up with Auto Focus Adjustment and the new Off & Go, which make handling easy. Like the VPL-CX75, the VPL-CX70, thanks to Sony Side Shot technology, does not have to be placed directly at the centre of the screen, so presenters can stand in front of the audience without casting a shadow or staring into the bright light of the projector.

4)     BenQ: A bright introduction with the PB6110

The BenQ PB6110 will convince users due to its contrast ratio of 2000:1 and a brightness of 1500 ANSI lumens. Thanks to an SVGA resolution (800 x 600) the BenQ PB6110 serves as the ideal entry level device in home cinema. The BenQ PB6110 is succeeding the many times awarded predecessor PB6100. 6)     CASIO: three new bright and compact projectors

CASIO is introducing the new bright data projectors in a noble design: the three compact devices XJ-360, XJ-460 and XJ-560. In combination with an aspherical lens, which is used in data projectors for the first time, the projectors achieve an extremely stunning picture quality in any kind of room. Even at a projection distance as short as 0.8 meters these projectors will present a sharp picture. The projectors are working with a condensing lens that has been built especially by CASIO and a specially shaped lamp reflector together resulting in remarkable brightness enabling applications even in daylight environments. The XJ-560 is the new series’ flagship product featuring 3000 ANSI lumens. Both new models, XJ-460 and XJ-560, are standard equipped with a phase difference sensor system which, at the touch of a button, can determine potential horizontal and vertical image distortions and correct them automatically. The system also has an included auto focus function. The projection of an undistorted picture can thus be enabled automatically from an angle of up to ±30 degrees to the projection axis – all without any time consuming manual adjustments. All three new projector models are available in March 2005.

14) ADEO: The new Plano represent top-level technology

The latest born within the Adeo group is called Plano, a frame exclusively designed for the home-cinema sector. Distinctive features are: renewed outline, new design of the profile, with a particular angle shot of the inner profile allowing a optimal light reflection. In the Home Theatre sector problems arise when the frame is illuminated by the light of the video-projector: if the area of the frame illuminated by the projected image (overscan) is not perfectly black, there is a false contrast perception. For this reason the Adeo Group has realized a frame with inner angle sides, so that light can be reflected towards the sides behind the screen, and not toward the audience or the screen itself. The visible surface of the frame and the inner side of the angles are in black velvet, a material which completely absorbs light. Not only does Plano improve the contrast perception but it represents top-level technology and beauty as well as sheer functionality, for example the brackets for wall fitting are not visible and they have been designed as is the installation system of the curtain to obtain a perfect adherence to the wall. Plano is a very interesting product having already obtained great success among experts.
